Reports Suggest Pitso Mosimane Hasn’t Received Salary in Months! The head coach and his team are said to have not been paid.
It is alleged that Pitso Mosimane and his team have not received their salaries from Al Ahli Saudi. This is despite a successful first season for the mentor.
Jingles recently won the second division, Yelo League, title in Saudi Arabia. They will now return back to the topflight next season.
Ideally, this would signify a great season for Al Ahli, however, it seems the job of Mosimane is not secure despite this. The failure to pay their salaries is also quite suspicious.
Members of Mosimane’s coaching staff include Kabelo Rangoaga, Musi Matlaba, Kyle Solomons and Maahier Davids.
“The coaches focused on the job of promoting the team to the premier league and that’s what they have done,” an insider close to the situation told Times Live.
“Now they [the coaching staff] have achieved their mission, they are engaging the team to get what is owed to them because the past few months have not been easy for them.” The source added.
Despite their achievements this season, Jingles and his team could find themselves on the job market once more at the end of the season.
“TimesLIVE reached out for a response to Al-Ahli Saudi via the email address provided on their official website, but did not receive one,” the publication added.
“Moaz and CEO Yazan Al-Shareef could not be reached on their cell phones and did not respond to WhatsApp messages.
“Mosimane’s manager, Moira Tlhagale, also could not be reached for comment.”
