Robert Marawa Confirms That One Person Got Him Fired From SuperSport And SABC! The experienced sports broadcaster has been famously fired from his last two gigs.
Robert Marawa insists that the reasons behind his firings are not because of his own incapability. It is because of an outside force that he will not name.
In an interview with Mac G on Podcast and Chill, he disclosed the reasons for being let go at the SABC and SuperSport TV.
These firings were famous because he received his dismissals through SMS. At both SABC and SuperSport.
In 2019 he was fired in May at SuperSport. This year, the SABC let him go on the day of his final show.
“I was fired. You’ve got to trace the consistency at how these things happen. So, it won’t be ‘fired’, fired. They wait for the contract to come to an end.
“So, it’s not being renewed. It’s a safe way of getting out of what is. It’s a contract that should be renewed. I’m not saying this in an arrogant way or anything.
“I’m saying this because when I was told that they’re not going to renew the contract in May 2019 at SuperSport, I was scheduled my Thursday Night show that Thursday. I was scheduled to the UEFA Champions League final on the 1st of June (2019), Tottenham Hotspurs vs. Liverpool
“The consistency at which it happened, I repeat, its one person behind me being fired. It’s not somebody at SuperSport, and it’s not somebody at SABC.
“It’s somebody from the outside, who then tells them not to renew my contract.” He exclaims
