Robert Marawa Joins Primedia Radio Station 94.7! The much-acclaimed sports caster will begin his new venture tomorrow evening.
Robert Marawa has been announced as the newest addition to the 94.7 family. His sports show will be broadcast live on an addition 4 stations under Primedia.
Marawa has licensed his sports show Marawa Sports Worldwide under Primedia, where he will be recording live from their studios every weekday at 6pm. This is a show he personally started when he was fired from the SABC in 2021.
“My move to Primedia is both historic and exciting in creating a wider reach for all #MSW fans, especially for Gauteng residents who have been complaining about being left out.
“With this move, we are raising the game for sports enthusiasts in South Africa and beyond,” the 94.7 website reads.
He is an experienced sports caster who has worked for the SABC and SuperSport TV before. At these jobs he was unceremoniously discarded from his post.
“Listeners can look forward to sixty minutes filled to the brim with the very latest sports news, exclusive exposés, and interviews, with real-time updates and insights.” Station manager Ravi Naidoo also added.
Marawa also took to his social media to announce the exciting news.
