Roberto Carlos-Ronaldo Bromance Stirs Hornet’s Nest
“I’ve slept more times with Ronaldo than my wife.” came the staggering yet innocent revelation from Roberto Carlos in behind the scenes confessions of Galactico life at Real Madrid.
The former Brazil and Real Madrid full back gave a revealing interview in which he detailed how player power of the Galacticos had brought down more than one coach at the Bernabéu.
The former Inter defender admits he spent more time with the striker than he did with his other half since meeting the tear away Brazilian striker Ronaldo in 1993.
Ronaldo in consensus to the bromance with his fellow countryman came out in sync yet giving more objective clarification of what lay beneath the surface.
“My best team-mate was Roberto Carlos,” he said in an interview with Sports Illustrated.
“I slept more in the same room with Roberto Carlos in training camps than with all the women I’ve been with in my life! I spent all my life with Roberto Carlos for 20 years: with the national team, with Real Madrid, with Corinthians.”
