Royal AM did in fact arrive at the Chatsworth Stadium to play their first playoff encounter against The Chilli Boys. However, for reasons unknown, they all packed their bags and left the stadium.
Yesterday Shauwn Mkhize had said that they would not at all show up for their match. However, upon arriving at the stadium for their 15h00 kick off, it is bizarre that they just left without any reason.
This has proved to be a sad day for South African football and the PSL.
Chippa United took to the stadium on their own and have been handed a 3-0 victory. They are now six points clear at the top of the promotion playoff table. Richards Bay and Royal AM will have to win both their remaining matches to stop the Chilli Boys now.
