“Teko Is My Role Model” Says Mabunda

Ever since Tiyani Mabunda has returned to Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of the 2015/16 seasoIn, he is looking to follow in the foot steps of Teko Modise. Mabunda who is the former Black Leopards player has been injured throughout his career and he was able to make nine league starts for Free State Stars, Where he was on loan from Sundowns for the 2014/15 season.

Mabunda disclosed that Modise is someone he looks up to and is looking to learn a lot from him” I have admired Teko for as long as I can remember. He has been my role model since before I even got into professional football” he said.

” What I love about him is that he is a hard worker. What he does on the field during the game is what he does in training. He can’t get enough of hard work! He always wants to do better than he did before” he added.

He is truly an inspiration and I hope one day I can be just as great as he is.
