AmaZulu FC host Orlando Pirates in their final DSTV Premiership fixture this Saturday. Club chairman Sandile Zungu has rallied behind their supporters to fill up the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Usuthu have endured a pretty underwhelming season, to their standards. They have no chance of finishing in the top half and will end outside of an MTN 8 position this season.
This is below the hefty heights that Zungu set upon Usuthu when he took over in 2020. However, he would still like to end the current season on a high note.
“To the supporters, you are the lifeblood of the club,” The chairman told the club media.
“Your passion, energy, and unwavering support have been felt by the players and coaching staff all season.”
“Now is the time to raise the roof, to make your voices heard, and to rally behind your team with all the passion. Let’s make this match an all-green affair and truly rally behind the team,” Zungu added.
Usuthu have also encouraged their supporters to enter into a competition which could see one lucky individual win a brand-new vehicle.
“We live for such moments at Usuthu, changing the lives of our followers. This year’s campaign is slightly different,” CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu spoke.
“A lucky AmaZulu membership carrying supporter who has entered with either through buying a home ticket or purchasing merchandise at the AmaZulu Fan Experience or Store will walk away with a brand-new Mitsubishi ASX 20.L ES M/T worth more than R400 000,” she added.
