Sangoma Gogo Maweni Seemingly Admits To Bewitching Former Sundowns Player, Siyabonga Zulu. Gogo Maweni who’s said to be a baby mama of the former Mamelodi Sundowns player Siyabonga Zulu was in the MacG Podcast where she admitted allegations of bewitching the father of her child.

Zulu played for Sundowns between 2018 and 2019 and was reportedly sacked by the club after missing his disciplinary hearing and also going AWOL. It’s alleged that Zulu didn’t report to training at Chloorkop for almost a month in 2018.

As per the Sowetan, there’s a reality TV show called No Excuse Pay Papgeld that was informed by Maweni that Zulu wasn’t a present father to their child. The show visited Sundowns hoping to find Zulu as they wanted to question him for maintenance squabbles with his baby mama. Thulani Thuswa who died last year was still working as spokesperson at Masandawana, he informed this show that Zulu had been booted from the club for numerous reasons. 

The disciplinary hearing that Zulu missed was meant to question him about failing to report to training. It was also reported that Zulu was evicted from the club’s apartment in Kempton Park which Downs gave to him to resolve issues of not attending the training.

Maweni was on MagC’s Podcast this past week and the presenter of the show Mcgayver Mukwevho asked her if she did bewitch Zulu, she responded and said, “Yeah.”

Back in 2019, when she was on Moja Love’s show on DStv channel 157, she allegedly accused Zulu of changing his ways as she said her baby daddy started cheating on her with numerous women but she forgave him many times. Maweni said Zulu got worse when he joined Bafana Bastyle. “Things went wrong when I was eight months pregnant…he became distant,” she said on the show as quoted by The Sunday World.

Maweni added that Zulu moved out of the apartment that they were sharing but they continued being in touch and at times he would come to the apartment to borrow her car. Sunday World also reported that Maweni claimed that Zulu crashed her Audi A5 and left her with R50 000 debt to fix it. 

She alleged that when she went to Zulu’s house in Soweto, her baby father’s mother accused her of putting a spell on Zulu and that she was after his money. Further, she claimed that Zulu’s sister agreed with her mother that Maweni was the one who destroyed the footballer’s career by always showing up to Sundowns to complain about the defender.
