PICS! Julia Stuart Hangs Out With South African Sky Sports TV Presenter In UK

PICS! Julia Stuart Hangs Out With South African Sky Sports TV Presenter In UK. When it comes to the strongest women sports anchors in South African football, you can never leave Julia Stuart out of your list. Her ability to make the interviewees tell-all with interesting questions has made her a name.

She does the big events or games at SuperSport and has been traveling to Europe for sports broadcasting time and time again. Last month she went to cover the UEFA Champions League final in Paris, France between Real Madrid and Liverpool.

From what we’re seeing on social media, it seems like Julia is in Manchester, England. She posted pictures with the South African Sky Sports TV presenter and journalist Mellisa Reddy. The two seem to be close as the SA women in the game.

Mellisa is a senior reporter at Sky Sports and her speciality is the Premier League. They both posted their pictures together. See below:

HOW DID MELLISA BAG A GIG AT SKY SPORTS?

For the South African sports broadcasters, it’s quite difficult to convince the European media companies that you have what it takes to deliver the job. It took Mellisa a long journey to become a “senior reporter” at Sky Sports.

She was part of TEAMtalk Media in SA in 2007 and worked across many sports. In 2011 she became head of football before she moved to Africa’s Largest Sports Publication Kick Off Magazine and became the Deputy Editor. That was a record as she was the first female to hold such a post.

She also worked as a football analyst at SuperSports’ Backpages and Monday Night show. In 2015, she became the Liverpool Correspondent of Goal’s 38 editions worldwide. She’s a fan of Liverpool by the way. She then joined ESPN as a football correspondent and also wrote for The Athletic before she became the senior football correspondent at JOE.

She then joined The Independent as a Senior football correspondent in November 2019 prior to leaving them for Sky Sports in March this year.
