Sekhukhune United Suspend Four Players for Failing Breathalyser Test! Babina Noko saw some of their players indulge in alcohol before training.
Sekhukhune United have suspended four players for arriving to training under the influence of alcohol. This happened over the past weekend.
This was first reported by FARPost, that 4 Babina Noko players reported to training and failed their breathalyser tests. The club has their usual protocol of testing players before each session.
The players have been confirmed to have been Sello Motsepe, Tlotlo Leepile, Siyabulela Shai and Katlego Molaba.
“They need to go for internal disciplinary hearings, four of them have been suspended for arriving under the influence of alcohol,” a source told iDiski Times.
“Two of them received second chances at the club, it’s disappointing, remember they were released because of the same problem.
“There’s a chance they may be released, it’s a breach of contract, but the legal team are likely to guide the process. Motsepe was over the limit, I’m not sure how he got to training or even home.
“Only those four failed the breathalyser test, the rest passed.” The insider revealed.
The club is yet to provide any insight into the matter. The PSL is currently on hold until the resumption of domestic football over the world when the 2022 FIFA World Cup ends.
