Sifiso Hlanti Thanks His Wife for Supporting Him Through Serious Injury! The Amakhosi left back recently returned from the doctor’s bench.
Sifiso Hlanti suffered a serious injury last season and has only recently returned. He has thanked his wife for being there for him while he was out of the game.
The left back only joined Amakhosi last season after he had signed a pre-contract with the team. This is because they had a transfer ban sanctioned by FIFA.
When he joined, he became an immediate part of the plans of Stuart Baxter. However, this was threatened by a serious injury before the season ended.
Now he has recovered, and he’s already featured for Arthur Zwane this season.
“She played a huge role and I appreciate her,” reports SABC Sport.
“To be where I am today, I think it’s because of her.
“If you are strong mentally and you know how to deal with difficult times, it’s something no one will take away from me, not that I’m too big or bigger than this game or the team itself.
“But the personality and how I approach things, I feel like when you go down to the deep end, you realise that you need to stand up and face those challenges.
“So, coming to my situation and the incident that happened here at training, when it happened it wasn’t easy, but it was all up to me how I react and respond to that.” He spoke.
