Former Kaizer Chiefs kingpin Siphiwe Tshabalala is not calling it quits yet but still eager to play again and weave his magic wand on the football pitch despite being 35‚ and clubless for the past six months.
“Shabba” was speaking on the sidelines of Chiefs’ 50th anniversary celebrations in Phefeni‚ Orlando West as well as at FNB stadium when Chiefs took on Highlands Park.
The ex-Amakhosi forward claims the six-month hiatus from football had been more by choice rather than by default and he will come back to the field when the time is right.
“No I haven’t called it quits. It was a personal decision that I took after coming back from Turkey‚”
“And when the time is right I’ll definitely make an announcement with regards to my future. I’m still very much in the game. With regards to offers‚ I have had some abroad. I still have offers until today. But I told myself that when the time is right‚ when I’m ready and in a good space‚ I’ll be back on the field.” Tshabalala said.
