Siyabonga Sangweni hangs his boots

Orlando Pirates centre back Siyabonga Sangweni has hung his boots following recurring injuries.

The Sea Robbers player appeared focused on returning to action but medical advice saw him being forced into early retirement.

The Bucaneers centre back was restricted to only six league starts owing to injury. Irvin Khoza confirmed the development marking the end of an illustrious career which saw Sangweni earning himself 29 caps for Bafana Bafana.
