Gavin Hunt Says They Repeated The Same Mistakes! Kaizer Chiefs lost 2-1 to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in the DSTV Premiership last night.

The Amakhosi conceded a 96^th minute penalty through Siyabonga Ngezana’s hand ball. The influential Thabo Mnyamane slotted home the spot kick to give TTM all three points.

Thabo Rakhale had given Tshakhuma the lead in the first half. Lebogang Manyama equalised from a rebounded penalty in the second half, before TTM secured the win.

“Ja I thought we were well in the game obviously until the red-card but we stayed in the front foot, made changes at half-time to stay in the front foot,” Hunt told SuperSport TV.

“Tried to get something to play towards and we did well, we got the goal and if we had a little bit of care upfront sometimes we could have done better.

“We didn’t hold it or gave it away cheaply and obviously we got turned over but we were right in the game, obviously they gonna come out with extra numbers, overload us,” he said.

“But we did well, the changes were right but then that’s pretty much how it has been, you got to have the mentality and the game toughness to see it out but obviously you never know sometimes with what went on.

“The first goal was the same mistake, pretty much things you can’t understand, that’s just down to certain things, ja but I thought we did well to come back in. We could have had a chance to win at the end but they obviously got the bounce of the ball there.”

Hunt admitted that he does not understand how the Kaizer Chiefs players continue to make the same mistakes over and again.

“It’s very difficult to explain,” Hunt told the club’s media department after the game,

“I don’t know, it’s actually mind boggling what I see, but I thought we deserved a little bit more again but ja, making mistakes, it’s inexcusable to make mistakes like that, but we just battle on.” Hunt added.
