SuperSport United Announce Winners from Their Annual Awards Ceremony! They celebrated their best players from the past season.
SuperSport United held their annual awards ceremony earlier this week. Their best performers from the current campaign were given their flowers.
It was the first season for returning head coach Gavin Hunt. He guided Matsatsantsa to a third placed finish and a spot in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Therefore, this has been a relatively successful season for the modest spending Pretoria giants.
“SuperSport United Football Club acknowledged the players and technical staff members for their contributions for the 2022/23 season,” the club announced in a statement.
“The awards ceremony was held at the Randpark Golf Club in Johannesburg on Monday evening.
“Present at the function were club sponsors such as Jonsson work wear, Huawei and partners also formed part of the big night.
“Top members of the group also attended including the club CEO Stan Matthews and Chairman’s son Bheki Sibiya who handed an award on behalf of his father chairman Khulu Sibiya who did not attend.”
