Masandawana haven’t had the luxury of the top goal scorer of the last season available for their last three matches. Rulani Mokwena has revealed that he is struggling with a muscular issue, which has seen him unavailable recently.

“He’s got a little bit of a complicated situation and we are trying to see various specialists to get different opinions,” Mokwena briefed members of media yesterday.

“Anything that I say about Peter at this present moment will be mere speculation because proper diagnosis of the situation needs to take place and then we will know what the way forward is.

“Let’s wait a little bit, the club will give an update, but at the moment he is unavailable because there is a bit of a complication and when I say complication, I mean muscular and nothing else.

“We are trying to get different opinions, getting feedback from different specialists but the club will give proper feedback. We don’t really know what the situation is at the moment.” He added.

Fellow co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi said that the Namibian may come on as a surprise in the match.

“As to whether he [Shalulile] will be part of this one I cannot be sure. We rested him over the past two or three matches because we also want to have him as fresh as possible.

“Probably he might come in as a big surprise for this match. It’s very difficult to say whether he’s in or out because the specialists have to give a call in that space.

“His condition is still OK physicality, so we have to wait and see what comes out from the specialists.” He added.
