Teko Modise played under Pitso Mosimane on several different occasions. He has said that he sees similarities between himself and the tactician.
Dona first interacted with Jingles way before he even made it pro. After that, on a professional lever, they worked together at Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and at Bafana Bafana.
They achieved a lot of success together, including league titles and the 2016 CAF Champions League trophy.
“There is a lot that I see from coach Pitso [Mosimane] that I now see in myself,” Modise spoke.
“What I see in myself from Pitso is that he is a winner – whether in life or in football. He wants to win, he does whatever it takes to win, and he works hard.
“He is one of the few coaches that I know don’t sleep, he would tell me about a game he was watching at 4am, it is just insane the amount of work he puts in.
“When it comes to me, it’s the same thing. All I know is to work hard and that is one of the things I see in him, and he continues to do that, to fly the South African flag high wherever he goes.
“I think he also likes projects. He likes starting from scratch and making something out of nothing.” He added.
