Thembinkosi Lorch Ruled Out for The Rest Of 2021! The Orlando Pirates star forward will play no part for the rest of the year.

Thembinkosi Lorch has been ruled out for the rest of the year due to persistent injury. He suffered a shoulder injury against Kaizer Chiefs in the Carling Black Label Cup.

This means that Nyoso has only made one appearance thus far in the campaign. He is currently going through a rehabilitation process.

The Orlando Pirates medical team is confident that he will be fit by 2022.

“We won’t see him for the rest of the year with a long-term injury,” Davids told the media on Saturday after defeating Swallows FC 1-0 at the Orlando Stadium.

“We’re in the process of trying to fix the team and most importantly in the performance, if we can continue to perform this way, more fluidity in our attack, more shots at goal, more domination from start to finish,” Davids added.

“We are able to do it for a certain period of time, the type of football, the type of dominance we want to have, that is what we’re zooming out and looking at the bigger picture of where we want to go.” He spoke.

Lorch has really struggled to attain consistent game time over the past two seasons. This has hampered his form.

Ever since winning the PSL Player of The Year in 2019, he has not hit the same heights in any way whatsoever. In fact, some have argued his form has gone in the opposite trajectory.

This is particularly because of the commercial fame which has been attached to his name ever since 2019. Some have even claimed that he is focused more on his social life than his football.

His return in 2022 will be eagerly anticipated. Thembinkosi Lorch Ruled Out for The Rest Of 2021!
