Tim Sukazi was denied entry into the Orlando Stadium changing rooms. He says that security at the stadium was instructed by Dr Irvin Khoza to do so.
Incredibly, this is apparently the second time that the TS Galaxy staff have been treated in such a manner at the very same stadium.
“During the scuffle, Tim called the Chairman of Pirates who told him to go inside.” TS Galaxy media officer Minenhle Mkhize told SAFM Sports last night.
“Dr Khoza then spoke to the security for a few minutes. The security came back and said Sukazi can no longer go inside
“This is not the first time we’ve had an incident of this nature. In our previous game in Orlando, we were also treated this badly, but we decided to let it go.
“But this one we won’t let go. We are officially lodging a complaint
“I was also assaulted in Orlando. I was slapped by the Pirates Media Officer Thandi.
“I was shocked. I didn’t know what to do.
“But I couldn’t hit back, not when we are facing serious issues of GBV in the country. I’m very disappointed cos I looked up to her.
“But what can I do” Mkhize lamented.
