TS Galaxy Eye January Reinforcements After Goalless Draw With Kaizer Chiefs

TS Galaxy head coach Adnan Beganovic has revealed plans to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window following a goalless draw against Kaizer Chiefs. The Rockets held their own against the Amakhosi and will finish the first half of the season in the top eight, demonstrating resilience after a challenging start to the campaign.
Beganovic said the club has not yet finalized any transfer targets but is focused on adding a ball-playing centre-back. He emphasized the importance of finding a player comfortable with the ball and capable of linking play between the lines, adding that securing the right fit may be difficult but remains a priority.
He praised the current squad and acknowledged their strong performance against Chiefs, but stressed the need for strategic reinforcement. Galaxy’s objective is to maintain their competitive edge and push higher up the table in the second half of the season.
With the mid-season break approaching due to the Africa Cup of Nations, Beganovic outlined the club’s schedule. Players will be given a two-week break before resuming full team training. The team is expected back on the field around December 29, allowing four weeks of preparation for the remainder of the season. Beganovic expressed confidence that the structured break and focused training will help the squad perform strongly in the second half.
