Richards Bay FC lost 2-0 at home to runaway leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the DSTV Premiership in their last match. Head coach Vasili Manousakis conceded that their opponents were simply much stronger than them.

The Brazilians took a first half lead through yet another goal by Cassius Mailula. Haashim Domingo capitalised from a defensive error to make it 2:0 and seal victory for the league leaders.
“I think the first half, to be completely honest, I felt like we were watching PlayStation at some stage. [Mamelodi] Sundowns were unbelievable.” He told SuperSport TV.
“The way they overload the central areas, the quick combination play, the speed of their play, the way they pin you back. We didn’t help ourselves, we were far too narrow, its something we corrected at half time.
“One or two tactical adjustments and substitutions you know, and at halftime we said to ourselves, ‘lets have a go. Rather go down fighting, playing the way that we like to play, that we enjoy to play, and have a go for it in the second half’” he spoke.
