Victor Lindelöf Misses Manchester United Match After Suffering Robbery! The Reds’ defender became yet another footballer so succumbs to criminal activity.
Victor Lindelöf did not feature for Manchester United against West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday evening. This is after his family home was broken into last week.
This happened as he was part of the United team which won 3-1 away to Brentford in the middle of last week.
The experience was worsened by the fact that his family was at home when this happened. Lindelöf’s wife and three-year-old son were alone in the house as they were broken into.
Fortunately, no one was harmed, although it was a traumatic experience for everyone involved.
“I spoke with him at length on our flight back home from London and also this morning we spoke for about 20 minutes, 25 minutes,” interim coach Ralf Ragnick told the press before the weekend’s encounter.
“He told me what had actually happened and that this was really a traumatic event, especially for his wife and even the three-year-old son.
“He said to me that he right now needs to stay at home. He doesn’t want to leave his wife and his family on their own, which I can fully understand being a father of two children myself.
“We agreed that he will not be training today and also not be on duty tomorrow for the game.” The German confirmed.
