Watch! Andile Jali Enjoying A Traditional Ceremony At His Home In Matatiele. Many footballers won’t show you where they come from and are perhaps shy of having their culture known. Just like a normal person, well-known professional players have different religions and beliefs.

Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Andile Jali is known for his great confidence on the field. He doesn’t want to lose, he’s stubborn and giving up is not always an option for him. His confidence has taken him to higher levels. He doesn’t get tired of taking pictures of the deep rural areas where he hails from – Matatiele. 

Last week, it seems like they had a traditional ceremony as he posted a picture and a video where we see traditional beers and the meat of what looks like a slaughtered cow. Many people in the yard also appear as they had attended the ceremony.

HOW JALI HAS BEEN DOING AS A FOOTBALLER?

Jali had a prosperous season with the Brazilians where he completed a domestic treble with a team before he swept three individual accolades in the Premier Soccer League Awards, it was a historic one for ‘Mhlekazi’.

Here’s his reaction to the previous campaign: “I am very excited to be recognized for my determination and passion for the team. These awards would not have been made possible without my teammates and the coaching crew,” Jali told the club’s online magazine.

“We fought gallantly across every competition we participated in and I am proud to be part of another historic season with Sundowns.

“At a club like Sundowns, you must be ready to compete for trophies at the highest level. Therefore, it is critical to building one’s fitness because of the number of games the team plays every season.

“I am glad that I was able to stay strong and competitive throughout the campaign.”
