Watch how Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation was helping after KZN Floods
Siphiwe Tshabalala Foundation were out in Kwa-Zulu Natal this past week to assist with food parcels and blankets to the families that were affected by floods.
For the rich ones, it takes a good-hearted human being to forget a fancy life and keep in mind those that are in need. That’s what Tshabalala did when he took his time and traveled all the way from Gauteng to KZN.

Alongside him was his partner in crime in football, Reneilwe Letsholonyane who came to support the programme. Verulam and Isithokosizo primary school are among the places they visited.
Tshabalala took to Twitter to give thanks to Letsholonyane and the organizations that partnered with his foundation.
“We took our relief programme to Canelands Verulam in KZN to assist the families in distress with essentials and blankets. A big thank you to our partners @OldMutualInsure @aegsouthafrica @sesliblankets for your contribution. Much appreciated. @reneilwe06,” he tweeted.
In Umlazi’s Isithokozi primary, they assisted with school shoes for the learners. And the former Kaizer Chiefs winger also thanked the school for welcoming them.
“Thank you Isithokosizo Primary School in Umlazi for welcoming us,” he wrote on Instagram.
AmaZulu visited flood-affected communities
Before Shabba’s foundation contribution, we’ve seen AmaZulu FC opening their hearts in helping those that were struck hard by the natural disaster.
AmaZulu’s president Sandile Zungu acted instantly after the rains in helping the flood-affected communities around and outside Durban.
“I’ll be leading the delegation of AmaZulu Football Club to the communities of Inanda, Ntuzuma, and Kwa-Mashu, accompanied by the sponsors when I provided relieve material such as food, blankets etc. AmaZulu have got to be there when the people’s needs are greatest,” Zungu announced.

MaMkhize promised to build houses for those who lost homes
The Royal AM president Shawn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize didn’t want to be left behind as she promised to build 20 houses for those families that were going to be identified by the municipality.
“I am a mother and a family person. More importantly, I am from KwaZulu-Natal and these are my people. I know they are going through a hard time, not having a roof over their heads and not knowing where to go next when they leave the halls,” she told City Press.
“All I want to do is lend a helping hand and make a difference where I can. It’s not about me, but about those destitute families. I don’t want to hog the limelight for this.”
“I don’t know who is going to benefit because it is not my call. I have asked the municipality to identify about 20 families from the affected communities,” she added.
