Watch! Mamelodi Sundowns Players Going Through Pre-Season Medical Tests
The break is over, now teams are back at work and Mamelodi Sundowns are the latest team to come back. Having completed a treble last season, all eyes are on them as they’ll start their journey to defend their three domestic trophies.
Some of their players went on holiday to relieve the fatigue like Lebohang Maboe who visited Thailand and Teboho Mokoena and Aubrey Modiba who went to Dubai etc, while others decided to stay home with families. The foreign players such as Gaston Sirino, Dennis Onyango, Erwin Saavedra, etc went home to see their families.

Just after the end of the previous season, the Brazilians introduced their new signing Sipho Mbule from SuperSport United who penned a three-year deal with the club. And in January, it was reported that Downs had signed an Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nassir and was loaned back to his former team Coffee SC. He’s expected to join Bafana Bastyle before the 2022/23 season.

Matsatsantsa shot-stopper Ronwen Williams was clear that he would be happy to join the DStv Premiership Champions as it would present him an opportunity to play in the CAF Champions League.
