Will James Keene be a Bidvest Wits game changer?
Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits have at this stage of the ABSA premiership emerged as front runners to land the 2015/2016 PSL crown.
Masandawana lead the standings with 26 points from 12 matches. Bidvest Wits are second only because they have an inferior goal difference.
When the transfer window opened at the beginning of the month Bidvest Wits were quick to show their intent by signing English striker James Keene.
Keene was at one time on the radar of Kaizer Chiefs but Amakhosi decided against a possible move. Wits pounced on the forward and Hunt is now busy working with a player he hopes will be an instant hit at the Clever Boys.
The 30 year old striker has plenty of experience having had spells with Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Bolton, and Halmstad among several sides he has turned out for. With Wits currently second on 26 points the question many Bidvest fans will be posing is whether James Keene is the game changer that could play a major role in Gavin Hunt capturing a fourth league crown in his coaching career.
