Will Karim Benzema Inspire France To Euro 2020 Glory? The Real Madrid striker has been recalled to the French squad for the first time in 6 years.

Karim Benzema last played for France in 2015, before being recalled by Didier Deschamps. The French coach said that Benzema would never be called up to the squad again.

Benzema was embroiled in a blackmail scandal with fellow French teammate Mathieu Valbuena. Both were barred from the national team.

He has also won 3 La Liga titles. These successes at club level have made him forget about being excluded from French squads.
