'I Won't Play Brockie Against Chiefs‚ Says Mosimane
‘I Won’t Play Brockie Against Chiefs‚ Says Mosimane! It’s clear that the only thing on Masandawana coach Pitso Mosimane is the match against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
Earlier this week he was quoted admitting that he us scared to face Chiefs. Mosimane has since been hinting what his team might look like or is he playing mind games?
“Yes we are playing a good team that has got as better defensive record than us. But I like to look at the opposite side. I think we score more. And that’s a fact,” Mosimane said.
“I appreciate an open game. I appreciate attack. That’s why I’m talking about a 4-4 or 4-3 (scoreline). Because that’s what I want. But we will respect Kaizer Chiefs – they have done very well. And I think ‘Itu’‚ you can rest – maybe Brockie will not start,” he added.
PPitso went on to say the main reason they bought Brockie is to help in the Champions League.
“We didn’t Brockie to win a game against Kaizer Chiefs. And we didn’t bring Brokcie at Mamelodi Sundowns to keep us on top of the log – he found us there. Brockie is coming to help us in the Champion League. He scored 10 goals in the Confederation Cup (for SuperSport United last year).”
