Arthur Zwane Reveals Difference Between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates! Amakhosi lost out to their rivals over the weekend.

Arthur Zwane has discussed the difference between Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs this season. This is after they were eliminated by their great rivals in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday evening.

Both Mangethe and Jose Riveiro have been in their first seasons at their respective clubs this season. However, Pirates have already won the MTN 8, are in the final of the Nedbank Cup and are in pole position to finish in the last remaining CAF Champions League position in the DSTV Premiership.

Chiefs on the other hand, are looking at yet another trophyless season and are currently sitting on fourth place in the DSTV Premiership.

“Obviously the only difference when it comes to that is us bringing in new players, that needed to gel.” Zwane told members of the media.

“Us also working on our chemistry and understanding and when you look at Pirates how many players that they brought this season,

“Already they had a core. With us, we didn’t have a core. We had to start afresh.

“When you look at players that were part and parcel of the team this season, some of them did not play. Taking into consideration that most of our key players, for me very key players that could have played a huge role, even in today’s game and many other games that we ended up losing, they were out injured,

“Those who were given the opportunity gave their best and it wasn’t to be. So, that’s the difference we had a lot of injuries in our case to key players and now we had to chop and change the team at some point.

“We played with a makeshift defence just to make sure that we consolidate, and we don’t drop more points.” He spoke.
