PICS! MaMkhize Shows Some Passing Skills As She Visits Royal AM Training

Royal AM owner Shauwn “MaMKhize” Mkhize is so committed to being a club owner that avails itself whenever her team needs her. We’ve seen her in the previous season when she was attending almost all games for Thwihli Thwahla.

She’s back in South Africa after her Los Angeles trip and comes back with more energy that she will pass on to the boys ahead of the 2022/23 season. Yesterday, she attended the training session where she gave some talk to the whole team including the technical team and the players. She posted pictures including the ones where she was passing the ball.

“And so the journey begins. Our new coach has been officially introduced to the players and I can’t wait to see how well everyone works together. We’ve got a mammoth task ahead but I know that everyone is ready to give 100%. Now we focus on training and making sure that the boys @royalam_fc are physically and mentally prepared for the task at hand,” MaMkhize wrote on her Instagram.

ROYAL AM UNVEIL FOUR SIGNINGS AND MADUKA’S REPLACEMENT

Royal AM this past weekend announced the replacement of John Maduka along with four new signings. The KwaZulu-Natal-based side unveiled former Golden Arrows coach Khabo Zondo as their new manager. The club has also added Samir Nurkovic, Khethukuthula Ndlovu, Ruzaigh Gameldien, and Andre de Jong to their squad.

“We’re excited to introduce our HC Khabo Zondo, new physical trainer; Thabo Maloka, and our new signees: Andre Ernest De Jong, Ketha Ndlovu, Samir Nurkovic, and Ruzaigh Gamildien,” Royal AM wrote on their Twitter account.

ROYAL AM BEATEN BY AMAZULU ON MALULEKA’S SIGNING

George Maluleka on Saturday signed for AmaZulu after he parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns last month. Royal AM were said to be chasing Maluleka’s signing alongside Usuthu who eventually won the race. Maluleka played 19 games for Sundowns despite spending two years with the Pretoria giants.

He went on to win two DStv Premiership titles, MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup. The 33-year-old joined AmaZulu on a two-year deal with an option to extend for a further year, confirmed the club’s president Sandile Zungu.
