Orlando Pirates Bolster Squad With Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane

Orlando Pirates have officially confirmed the signings of Daniel Msendami and Mpho Chabatsane, strengthening their squad ahead of the resumption of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
The Buccaneers announced that both players have been acquired from Marumo Gallants on permanent deals. Pirates praised Gallants’ leadership, noting the professional and cooperative approach in finalizing the transfers.
Once all necessary clearances are completed, Msendami and Chabatsane will join the team in the North West Province, where the squad is currently training under head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou and his technical staff.
Pirates expect the new arrivals to bring both quality and competition to the squad as they prepare for a decisive second half of the season. Chabatsane is viewed as a replacement for the recently-departed Mbekezeli Mbokazi, while Msendami arrives fresh from an AFCON appearance with Zimbabwe, bringing international experience to the team.
Orlando Pirates officially welcomed the duo, stating that the club looks forward to their contributions and wishes them success in their new environment.
The additions of Msendami and Chabatsane underline Pirates’ intent to maintain momentum at the top of the Betway Premiership and reinforce key positions ahead of critical matches in the second half of the season.
