Bayern Munich Defeat PSG In Their UEFA Champions League First Leg! The Bavarians have claimed an advantage over the Parisians.

Bayern Munich won 1-0 away to PSG in their UEFA Champions League last 16 first leg encounter. The second leg will take place in a few weeks’ time.

The away side was by far the better team in the contest. They would have been disappointed to only come away with a single goal advantage in the encounter.

Frenchman Kingsley Coman scored the only goal of the game in the second half. Kylian Mbappé came on in the second half and had two goals ruled out for offside.

“We have to move on quickly. We’re going over there to qualify.” Mbappé told UEFA.

“Our players have to be in good health for the return leg, everyone needs to eat and sleep well. When we play attacking football, it’s uncomfortable for them.” He spoke.

Bayern Munich have only lost one match this entire season. They are in pole position to make it to the next round.

“We didn’t expect Paris to be so passive; it was a good first half,” Julian Nagelsmann added.

“After the break, we had a great start and then things hung in the balance a little, though the two times they really threatened it was offside.”

Veteran defender Sergio Ramos also expressed his disappointment after the loss.

“I’m very disappointed for the supporters. We’ll have to show more character in the second leg.

“We want to win and be the best we can be, but this is the nature of football. Sometimes we play well, sometimes we play badly.”
