Amakhosi have cleared boardroom politics such as contracts for players and now are focusing on winning the last cup there is to play for and that is the Nedbank Cup. Amakhosi are league contenders as well and now that matters have been resolved this will allow them to focus and strategies rather than to be distracted.

George Maluleka in action for Kaizer Chiefs

The AmaKhosi recently tied down  Tsepo Masilela, Siphiwe Tshabalala, Lucky Baloyi, Kgotso Moleko and Willard Katsande to a new three-year deal Naturena. However, the club have now confirmed that George Maluleka has signed a new three-year deal that will see him remain at the club until 2020. The 28-year-old has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Chiefs this season, and has also added a couple Man of the Match awards to his name.

This coming weekend on the 11th of March Amakhosi will take on Stellenbosch on a Nedbank cup encounter at Athlone stadium. Amakhosi have a full list of players to seal the deal for them but Stellenbosch is not a walk over and Chiefs will have to fight their way through Stellenbosch. Kick off is at 20:15 CAT. Chiefs will go into this encounter after their last match which they drew against Orlando Pirates.
