Dan Malesela Believes Royal AM Should Have At Least Drawn Last Night! Thwihli Thwahla suffered their second successive loss yesterday.

Royal AM lost at home to Orlando Pirates in the DSTV Premiership last night. Co-coach Dan Malesela was pleased with his charges and believes they should’ve drawn the match, if not claim all three points.

The defeat sees Royal AM lose consecutive DSTV Premiership matches for the first time since they joined the division. They lost to a Deon Hotto goal which came in the first half.

In the second half the hosts dominated the ball, but could not create any clear-cut chances, as they stumbled to another loss.

“Very good game overall.

“We could have at least gotten out with a draw, if not a win. “[They] got one chance and used it and that was the result.

“But we’re very happy with the improvements that we have made in terms of playing and trying to find goals.

“We had half chances there and there, we could have done better, decision-making not good. But it’s work in progress.

“You have so little time to correct those mistakes that are done but we try, and I think the signs are there that we’ll get better with time.

“It’s frustrating, sometimes you try a player, you’re thinking this is the right player but maybe not on the day. This schooling every day for us.

“We’re getting schooled with the players that we have.

“How better can we get them, what combination can we have that’s more solid, more purposeful in terms of scoring goals, once we get that right I think we’ll be on the right track.” He lamented.
