Haashim Domingo Expects A Direct Performance from SuperSport United! The Brazilians take on Matsatsantsa this evening.
Mamelodi Sundowns host SuperSport United in the DSTV Premiership tonight. Mercurial midfielder Haashim Domingo is fully aware of the style of play they will be up against.
The Brazilians currently hold a healthy eight-point lead ahead of Matsatsantsa at this juncture of the PSL league season. A victory will create an ominous gap against their Pretoria rivals.
Impressively, Sundowns are yet to concede a league goal this campaign. They have dropped only four points, as they sit on the summit of the table.
“[The aim for me] is just to continue with where I left off in terms of fitness.” Domingo told the club website.
“I can build on that and I will definitely be taking the confidence with me going into the next game. It’s important that we get the results with this one.
“It was difficult to get results against Cape Town City but with this one we need to go all out and look for the three points.” He added.
The visitors SuperSport possess one of the finest midfields in the DSTV Premiership. They have the likes of Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule, in their immensely talented midfield.
“I think their midfield will be the key. It consists of Teboho Mokoena, Sipho Mbule [whilst] Thamsanqa Gabuza and Bradley Grobler upfront and it will give them that key aerial presence.
“I expect that it’s going to be a direct performance from them in terms of long balls and playing on the second ball. I think we need to stay very tight, pick up the second ball and establish play from there.” He spoke
“We are taking it day by day, we’ve analysed SuperSport. We know what they are coming with and we just need to come up with solutions and that’s what we are working towards.” Domingo concluded.
Kick-off for today’s league encounter is 17h00. Haashim Domingo Expects A Direct Performance from SuperSport United!
