Happy Jele Is One Of The Most Chilled Players In The PSL! The Orlando Pirates skipper is a DSTV Premiership veteran.
Happy Jele made his PSL debut for Orlando Pirates way back in 2006 as a 19-year-old. He is a product of the now defunct Coca-Cola Football Talent Search.
As of 2017, Happy Jele became the longest serving Orlando Pirates player in the current squad. He is also by far the most decorated player in that squad.
Jele’s honours include two PSL titles, three MTN 8 victories, two Nedbank Cup trophies and a solitary Telkom Knockout title. He also has several other runners-up medals.
As a veteran DSTV Premiership player, he has outgrown all the adolescent activities which most players thrive in. Happy Jele has been there and done that.
At 34-years-old, Jele’s life has clear direction to it. His focus is career, family and ensuring future successes. This means that he has grown to become a mature player and person.
As a result, he is one of the more calm presences in the PSL at the moment. He is not infatuated with any glitz and glam that the professional soccer player is face with.
Here is a look at how Happy Jele is one of the most chilled players in the PSL!
