Khuliso Mudau Values the Time He Spends With Colleagues! The 25 year old joined Mamelodi Sundowns back when the 2020/21 season started.
Mudau joined from Black Leopards, alongside Lesedi Kapinga. The defender knew the depth of his new surroundings.
Mamelodi Sundowns are a big team, playing in many competitions, so as a result they have a very deep squad. Mudau was very aware that getting into the Sundowns side is not the same as the Black Leopards squad.
“I have made about six appearances for the club in the league, I feel as if I have done well in all the games I have featured in whether as a sub or starting.” Mudau told the Mamelodi Sundowns website.
“The club plays a lot of games, almost forty a season. We are playing for a big team and expectations are there for us to win every game and challenge or every trophy”
Sundowns are participating in the Nedbank Cup, DSTV Premiership and the CAF Champions League. They are likely to go quite far in each competition.
So instead of being pessimistic, Mudau is using this opportunity to learn from some of Africa’s finest. Especially if he is to grow and improve as a player.
He is competing with title winners on the right hand side in the form of Thapelo Morena and Lebogang Maboe. Mudau is a versatile defensive player, as he can also play at centre back.
“I am competing with quality players like Thapelo Morena, Lebo Maboe and every day I learn from them. They have been with the club for a while and understand what is needed by the coaches from us as players.
“So they are always available for advice and it is not like we are just here for work then leave, we are brothers at the end of the day and they also want me to improve and achieve as they have done with the club. Every moment I spend with the guys is valuable to me” he concludes.
