Richard Ofori Didn’t Make Any Mistakes According to Mandla Ncikazi! The Buccaneers drew 2-2 with Stellies on Saturday afternoon.

Richard Ofori cannot be blamed for either of the two goals Orlando Pirates conceded against Stellenbosch FC. This is according to Mandla Ncikazi as they drew their opening DSTV Premiership clash of the campaign.

The goalkeeper conceded from a deflected Waseem Isaacs strike in the second minute of the game. Judas Moseamedi scored the second Stellies goal with an acute header.

Deon Hotto and debutant Goodman Mosele scored for The Sea Robbers.

Ncikazi did not feel Ofori was to blame for either of the goals.

“I think today [on Saturday] he [Ofori] didn’t make mistakes.” The coach addressed the media post-draw.

“The second goal I wouldn’t blame him but it’s our defensive structure that allowed that cross to come in. I think Ofori is back, he performed well,” he added.

Ncikazi also lamented the injury list at Orlando Pirates. He feels that the club will be untouchable as soon as everyone returns.

“I don’t think there’s a club with an unfortunate scenario like ours where you have a Ben Motshwari injured, you have a Monare injured and you have a Lorch injured…you have about 10 players out injured,’’ said Ncikazi.

“You were preparing with them and now suddenly you have to change. Wait until we have our full complement of the team.

“I think there’s more to come if we have everybody back.” He stated.
