Molefi Ntseki Continuing to Learn the Kaizer Chiefs Structures! The newly appointed Head of Technical and Youth Development is adjusting to his role.
Molefi Ntseki admits that he must learn a lot to master his Kaizer Chiefs role. He is continuing to learn about all the structures that the club has in place.
Ntseki is an experienced football man. He came up through the coaching ranks at Bafana Bafana. He even reached the highest zenith of becoming the first team coach of the national team.
However, he admits that his current Kaizer Chiefs role is not too like his past coaching roles.
“It has been a learning curve, which has been very profitable for me. We are working in a big club in a big institution with so many role players, we need to know and understand how to work with them” Ntseki said in an interview with Kaizer Chiefs.
Kaizer Chiefs drew 0-0 away to TS Galaxy in their first DSTV Premiership match of the season. They followed this up with a 1-0 win over Baroka FC before the international break.
They lost 2-1 to Mamelodi Sundowns on penalties in the MTN 8 quarterfinals. This was their very first game of the 2021/2022 season.
“Playing Sundowns is always an ‘A’ match we were looking forward to reaching the semi-finals. Unfortunately, we lost on penalties.
“The team had a very good game, but we conceded two early goals.
“We made mistakes, which led to us conceding goals, but we did well to change our tactical approach and managed to take the game to penalties,” he added.
The Glamour Boys will face Mamelodi Sundowns once again this weekend, in the DSTV Premiership this time. Molefi Ntseki Continuing to Learn the Kaizer Chiefs Structures!
