Njabulo Blom seems to be acclimatising well in his new surroundings at team. He was signed by St. Louis City a few months ago from Kaizer Chiefs.
He was signed by former Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs left back Bradley Carnell, who is the head coach at the MLS side. Three months after the switch from South Africa to the USA, it seems Blom is doing well.
“It’s a bittersweet departure because it’s no secret to the Amakhosi faithful how highly we value Blom.” Kaizer Motaung Junior admitted after the transfer was confirmed.
“He is the epitome of what our KCYDA has been able to produce over the last couple of years. This is part of the plan for us to unearth talent of international standard.
“More so, we want to ensure that we produce talent that can go out to explore opportunities abroad. It’s great to see a young man who grew up in the system now being afforded the opportunity to expand his horizons.” The club Sporting Director spoke.
The utility player made his club debut for St. Louis City against Austin FC over the past week. He was brought on in the first half as they claimed a 3-2 win, their first victory of the MLS season.
