Pitso Mosimane’s incredible achievements have seen him receive support from all corners of South Africa. This time the Minister of Infrastructure and Public Works sought the presence of Mosimane.

“One of South Africa’s greatest sons leading Al Ahly in Egypt. We’re so proud of you coach. We’ll see you in the CAF Champions League finals later this month.

Mosimane has remained in the headlines since taking charge of Al Ahly. Since his appointment with the Egyptians, there have been some notable confrontations with homeland South Africa.
This was especial when Al Ahly travelled to Atteridgeville to face Mamelodi Sundowns in their last 8 CAF Champions League second leg tie. They came into the game leading 2-0.
Mosimane was subject to grave insults directed to him and his family. This lead to the Sundowns faithful being condemned by every football association in the country.
Even politicians supported Mosimane.
Al Ahly takes on Kaizer Chiefs in the CAF Champions League final on the 17th of July. Mosimane has one again divided the country in half.
Half the country is siding with Soweto Giants Kaizer Chiefs while the other half is supporting Al Ahly because of Coach Pitso. It remains to be seen how this final will turn out.
