Pitso Gives Credit To Orlando Pirates

Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is impresssed with Orlando Pirates display in the continental competition, after they advanced to the final of the CAF Confederation Cup. Mosimane was impressed with their 5-3 aggregate win over two legs against Al-Ahly in the semi-final, as well as the quality of opposition they defeated.

“Orlando Pirates are really, really flying the flag high,” Pitso told KickOff.

“They beat Al Ahly – the team with 18 CAF titles and the team of the century. Really guys, credit to Orlando Pirates. Eric Tinkler has got it right and congratulations to him; all we are doing is to envy them.

“We wish them well and they are still showing that they are the biggest team in South Africa in terms of continental football.

Orlando Pirates has managed to score in all their away matches.

“They fear nothing. They are fearless away and they are scoring the goals when they play away you know.”
