Pitso Still Blamed For Ahly’s Poor Performance Even After His Departure
Pitso Mosimane is still the man to be blamed in Egypt even after he left the club last week. The Club of The Century announced that they were parting ways with the former Mamelodi Sundowns after he requested a clearance.
Ahly drew 2-2 with Zamalek in the past weekend and it was a sour result for the Cairo giants a they chase The White Knight who want to cement the 1st position in the league to try and defend their crown. Despite not being a man on the touchline in that game, Ex-Egypt assistant coach Diaa El-Sayed still put the blame on Mosimane for the club’s poor performance.

“Al Ahly players appeared in poor shape during the second half, Mosimane is the one to blame for it,” he told Al-Hayah TV channel. The game saw a lot of mistakes from both sides. Things like that shouldn’t have happened in such a big game between two big clubs,” he added.
Mosimane is still jobless and it remains to be seen where his next move will be. Rumours were suggesting that Sundowns might consider his return to the club whom he turned their fortunes around, however, the chairman Tlhopie Motsepe ruled out the possibilities.
“We have three very successful coaches who have done so well for our football club.” Thlopie Motsepe told members of the media. “All we can do is wish coach Pitso well because he is a successful South African coach. Wherever he goes he will continue to succeed but our coaches have done so well. It wouldn’t be right to think about Pitso Mosimane or any other suitor for our football club because we have found the perfect coaches.”

SOME LOCAL TEAMS HAVE ENQUIRED ABOUT PITSO
The following day after separating with Ahly, Mosimane’s agent Moira Mosimane revealed to TimesLive that she had been receiving calls both locally and internationally with teams enquiring about the services of Mosimane.
“Yesterday I got a lot of calls from different international and domestic clubs that are interested in coach PitsoMosimane.” his agent told TimesLive. “But it’s important to clarify on the record that we have not signed anything with anyone.”
“Interest is both international and domestic with three local SA teams that want the services of the coach. We have not gone into too much detail with anyone in terms of negotiations. Some of the teams that called wanted to confirm if Pitso Mosimane has signed with anyone already. This is because there have been reports in the media saying that he has been linked or signed. That is not correct at all,” she added.
Moreover, Mosimane has also been linked with a move to some countries in the Middle East including Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia
