Rantie Out In The Bafana Bafana Squad Due To Thigh Injury

Bafana Bafana and Bournemouth striker Tokelo Rantie has pulled out of South Africa’s two international friendlies due to injury. Bafana Bafana confirmed via their official Twitter account that the Bournemouth forward will not be part of  the squad that is going to face Costa Rica and Honduras due to a thigh muscle injury.



“Tokelo Rantie has pulled out of Central American tour having pulled a thigh muscle but Anele, Kamohelo, Masango etc are in camp,” [sic] from the Tweet.

Bafana Bafana will play  Costa Rica on Thursday, October 8 in San Jose at the Estadio Nacional.

Kick-off is at 04:00 South African time on Friday, October 9.
