Romain Folz Continues to Be Unhappy with PSL Referees! Usuthu shared the spoils against rivals Thwihli Thwahla over the past weekend.

AmaZulu FC drew 1-1 with Royal AM in the DSTV Premiership on Friday evening. Head coach Romain Folz bemoaned the performance of the referees in the match and in the league.

Ruzaigh Gamaldien gave Thwihli Thwahla the lead before his effort was cancelled out by Bongi Ntuli. There was controversy in the match when Usuthu had their goal disallowed for offside, but replay showed that they should have had a penalty before the offside call.

Fohloza lamented the refereeing decisions not going his way once again. Something he has done on many an occasion previously.

“We have nothing to do with the fact that we couldn’t win this game.” Folz told the media.

“Our performance was fine. We did all we could to win the game. We should have won 2-1.

“Even if it was an offside by 10km, it was a handball before that, a clear one in the box. My problem here is that the fourth referee came to us and lied, saying he was communicating with the referee.

“When mistakes happen anytime, it’s not mistaking anymore.

“The goal that we conceded was our fault… we did not defend well centrally; we opened a space for their striker to drop and to find a shooting situation without us stepping quick enough to block it.

“But again, two minutes after that, we created a chance and scored only for a goal to be disallowed. That changed the complexion of the game.” The tactician added.
