Shetsane Ramoseeka Issues Bold Warning to Orlando Pirates Ahead of Second-Leg Clash

Lioli FC legend Shetsane Ramoseeka has issued a defiant warning to Orlando Pirates ahead of their second-leg CAF Champions League first preliminary round clash this Saturday. The Lesotho champions face a tough task, trailing 3-0 on aggregate after a heavy defeat in the first leg at Toyota Stadium last weekend.

Despite the daunting deficit, Ramoseeka insists Lioli still have a chance to turn the tie around. “We have a chance to make an unbelievable comeback against Orlando Pirates as much as we know they are a big team. We saw our mistakes in the first leg, we are going to this game knowing where to fix. I think we learnt, and we are ready to fix our mistakes.”

Ramoseeka highlighted the importance of fan support in Soweto. “What can help the team try to fight back and possibly beat Pirates is having supporters at the stadium. The team need more supporters, more than they were last week,” he said.

The Lioli legend also reflected on the first-leg shortcomings. “Pirates did their homework in the first half in the first game, and their plans worked out better than ours. Our plan only worked in the first half. But to be honest, anything can happen in football, miracles happen. People can say Pirates are done, but anything can happen.”

Ramoseeka drew inspiration from historic comebacks in world football, referencing Real Madrid overturning deficits against Manchester City and Arsenal. He urged his team to believe in the possibility of a turnaround despite the odds.

Kick-off at Orlando Stadium is scheduled for 15:00, where Lioli will aim to defy expectations and mount a historic comeback against one of South Africa’s continental heavyweights.
