Watch! Mamelodi Sundowns Stars Meeting Sipho Mbule

As we saw, Mamelodi Sundowns players only came back to Chloorkop on Friday last week for medical tests. It had been a while since they last saw each other, it was just all excitement moment among the group. Sipho Mbule is the new acquisition for the Brazilians and he may be a bit shy around his new teammates. Watch the video below as they meet him.

However, Mbule has just reunited with his former teammates at SuperSport United, that is Aubrey Modiba, Teboho Mokoena, and Grant Kekana. When the season ended, Sundowns announced the signing of the 23-year-old as he penned a deal.

OTHER SUNDOWNS SIGNINGS?

In January, it was reported that Masandawana signed an Ethiopian striker Abubeker Nassir and was loaned back to his former team Coffee SC. He’s expected to join the Pretoria giants as the pre-season starts.

PLAYERS LINKED WITH SUNDOWNS

The Brazilians are also reportedly looking to sign Ronwen Williams of SuperSport as he made it clear that he’d like to move from the childhood club. He also added that he would like to win the league which makes it vivid that Sundowns are likely to be his destination.

“Definitely, who wouldn’t want to play for the [treble] champions? I mean, they are at the pinnacle of South African football at the moment, and for the last few years,” Williams told SABC Sport. And it will only benefit me playing Champions League or Confederation Cup because, like you said, I’m part of the national team and that will only boost and help me. So, any offer that comes, if the offer is good and the club is happy then we shake hands and we move on.

Soccer Laduma reported that Downs are close to concluding a swap deal that would see Williams joining them while Ricardo Goss goes in the opposite direction. It has also been reported that Downs are chasing the signature of Cape Town City’s Thabo Nodada.
