Wounded Wits Welcome Celtic
When two wounded beasts meet they assess each others wounds and the one hurt more is then comforted by the least wounded. This is no exception to Wits who will take on Bloemfontein Celtic at Bidvest stadium. Wits come from a loss after being thrashed 2-0 by Sundowns and Celtic come from a 3-0 loss to Platinum Stars.
Wits are the better team who have their eyes fixed on the PSL title but they need to start winning every game and not repeat what they did last season where they lost focus and lost their crucial games in the critical stage of the PSL. Wits are third on the log table with 34 points and a win could see them climb up the table. Celtic are sitting 13th on the log table with 18 points. Celtic is on the hot seat as they are close to the relegation zone and every team below the table is out to rescue themselves and will do whatever they can to climb up. A win for Celtic will take them to 21 points and they will move up to 11th on the table. However, these are prayers that other teams do not play well. Kick Off is set for 8pm (CAT).
Ever since the 2010 world cup, which South Africa hosted, the has been keen interest and excitement for the PSL. Nothing has been predictable and over the last seven years no team has thus far won the league 3 times back to back or rather in a row. This is an indicator of how much the league is competitive and fans are now flocking in numbers to stadiums to support our league and that is exciting. Nothing is predictable and if you play sports bet you would support this view that its been hard to place bets on winning teams over the last 5 or 6 years.
