Kaizer Chiefs edge past Celtic

Kaizer Chiefs edged past Bloemfentein to grab valuable three points today. Amakhosi were desperate for maximum points after a 0-0 draw against Mamelodi Sundowns last weekend.

Kaizer Chiefs new signing William Twala made an immediate impact in Amakhosi colours as he won the spot kick which was calmly converted by Zimbabwean midfielder Willard Katsande.

The goal was just what Katsande needed having celebrated his birthday earlier in the week. A 1-0 victory handed Chiefs much needed points as Steve Khompela looks to keep within touching distance of the top three sides.
