- Ephraim Msatsilela Sono “Jomo Sono”
Some times called the black prince of South African soccer, Jomo Sono is without doubt one of the most skilful players to be ever produced by South Africa. During his playing days Sono turned out for Orlando Pirates before moving to the United States where he turned out for New York Cosmos, Colorado Caribous, Atlanta Chiefs and Toronto Blizzard.
- Steven Pienaar
One of the most impressive players to come out of South Africa Steven Pienaar kick started his career at Ajax Cape Town, before catching the eye of Ajax Amsterdam.
